hey everyone! this is my first oil painting. we were to just play around with the media, and paint something in black and white over the course of a few classes. i chose zack, because everyone else painted flowers.
anyway...it was fun.

This feels like a stupid question, but how different is painting with oil?

as opposed to acrylic? the paints seem smoother, but take longer to dry. i don't really know, because i have very little experience in the field. :0

Thats awesome! I can never seem to wrap my head around painting realistically. But then, ive never used oils before, i always use acrylics. Though everyone i talk to says they like oils better.
