Trying to churn out some last minute prints for Bronycon regarding the voice talents that'll be there, and one of which includes the voice of Flash Sentry and Garble the Dragon, Vincent Tong. It's also been a bit since I've uploaded a legit Headcanon post, and with the new direction I plan on taking the headcanons I might as well start somewhere and start small! (note: didn't add the tailfeathers only because I chose not to for the sake of the print. He actually does have tailfeathers in my headcanon)

So this is how I picture Flash in my headcanon. Some of you may know that the whole Equestria Girls thing doesn't exist in my headcanon (only because I don't care for Humans in Equestria: the movies themselves are fine), and originally I didn't like Flash Sentry. It's mainly because his role in the movie was literally just "token boyfriend" to the main character and as such he had absolutely no personality. He was bland, and he was boring, and it was forcing a kinda-sorta romance ark that had no place in the movie. The only thing that brought any sort of possible interest to the character was when he was brought into the actual show, and he was seen as a Crystal Pony guard. And that's something I can work with, so here we go:

Flash Sentry was born and raised in Cloudsdale, where he lived out most of his life until he eventually enlisted to be a soldier in the Equestrian Army Reserves, and since then he's served as a castle guard in Canterlot. Eventually though, after the permanent reappearance of the Crystal Empire, I'd imagine that the kingdom was in additional need of aid of all sorts to help it return it to its full glory, including protection, so when Celestia granted Shining Armor permission to leave as the Equestrian Army Captain to serve as captain (and of course Prince-Consort) to the Crystal Empire's forces, Flash was among the volunteers who were sent along with him. Flash has since then lived in the Crystal Empire. It's here he eventually met his boyfriend, Sunburst (I actually ship them; it's pretty cute).

And there ya have it. I might add more but I kept this one short and simple because I'm kinda tired, but I hope you enjoy it anyway! Be prepared for more headcanon stuff, especially stuff that will veer away from the show in favor of my own ideas, and if you have any questions feel free to ask! :3
