Leaves are the tree's solar panels, converting light into energy. In fact, all green plants are solar panels. Mother Nature had them first
Looking up from under a Hazel in the Greenwood. It's getting to be a favourite haunt of mine. An idea for a yarn came from here, on the search for the Green Man, and in this wood he's very present, if you open up your senses

Having recently read "Eating the Sun" by Oliver Morton, I'm looking at a yarn with images, and have been in the woods a lot. A Green Man meets Science sort of thing, what with the mess we find ourselves in when it comes to the Biosphere, but more to the point, what we willΒ leave to future generations to sort out.
