At the annual Charity Boules tournament on Sunday.I had been shooting using the 18-70mm & wanted to get some faces, so I went over to the bench where this person was sitting, with her bags taking up the rest of the space.
I gently made space to put down my small shoulder bag that contained my 70-300mm. The person gave me such a look & hurumphed, turning back to reading the Sunday Times. So I shot her
It's a tad soft as I was too close & didn't want to move as that would draw her attention.

You have the right to take photos of strangers without asking for their permission in England? Here, in Canada, at least in the Province of Québec, it is forbidden, unfortunately! Then no spontaneous portraits!

She was. An old lady asked for some room to sit down,
she grudgingly moved a bag onto the pavement. It was a very hot day, in the 80s. Bitch!
