Description
Having been for a walk around the Moat, I came through the 'Eye' into Market Place. There were a number of film production lorries parked up, and cables running all over the place. It turned out a commercial was being shot for Thatcher's Cider. Why they had this old lady charging up the pavement we'll have to wait and see the advert.Sadly, I only had the 70-300mm lens with me.

Whilst I have every sympathy for friends who have to use these things, I have been hit by them more than once and had a few near misses, the latest of which was in an entrance doorway to a shopping mall and one of these "Nan-brettas" scraped through despite me.
So rude...
My most amusing experience was at a pub bar and a legless man (from the knees down) on one of these hit the "go" button instead of reverse and took my legs away and sat me in his lap.
He suffered much merry jesting for it and no one was hurt...

As I said, they should be limited to doing 4.5 mph, which is standard marching pace, rather than the 10 to 12mph that some do.

No, it's a Gift shop called Past & Present, but a number of the shops in Wells are taking part in Somerset Arts Week, showing work by local artists.

It takes place every year, and shops, cafes & pubs put on shows as well as the few galleries. Artists also hold Open House.
