This photo is actually good. The firebender's outfit is nice and very detailed as a cosplay. His hair fits his look. You can tell that he is ready to fight by his stance. The earthbender's outfit could use some more work. Although, it's a good try. But you want it to be more detailed. His hair could also be better too. You don't want the hair to look too fake now. The background would have been better if people were either gone, or dressed up to fit the boys' fighting scene. Just saying. His fight stance could have been more sharper too. Overall, you tried. But I think you captured a good photo.

while the copslays themselves are good this picture looks like it was taken by anyone walking by at a con. The poses you chose don't look natural ( in real life or to the character) that could just be the angle though.
If a better background had been used there would be an impact left but, because this looks like someone did a quick snapshot and walked off it just leaves you with the feeling of " look more cosplayers at a convention".
The wig and outfits look homemade which does leave a sense of originality and that you worked on it which is always good but it needs more than just that to have a great picture.

All an all what would improve this picture is a better background and a better angle. It would make a world of difference.
