This is my entry for 's contest

the words are connection and fragile
and this is why. a few days ago our dogs attacked a fledgling crow.luckly there was only a little blood but no broken bones from what we could tell and planed to release it the next day.naturally i got a little attached to it but i knew it was better to let it go so the next morning i did i opened the cage and got ready for school i saw that it had hopped out of the cage and its parents who where always there watching to make sure we didn't do anything bad had come back from their roosts. anyways the last i saw was an empty cage before i left for school.
when i came home the cage was empty still and the parents gone i hoped for the best but my friend latter on that day who also got attached to him. found him dead in our yard neck and wings broken possibly done by one of the cats that pass through our yard or something else (our dogs have alibies).
the reason why i choose the word fragile is because of the saying about life being fragile and connection because this little fledging touched my life and made me see the connection we all have, even more clearly defined.

rest in peace little moonlight(we had named him/her)

the picture depects The Wind comforting me as i watch a crow possibly the older version of little moonlight if he was still alive. a connection there as well
