Awesome work, Jesse. I know it's a fantasy scene, but the red sunset colors you used give it a darker, almost hellish hint. As if to say, "Hey, I'm a faerie with magical powers who spends the day talking to animals, flitting from flower petal to flower petal ... AND EATING SOULS!!!! LOL

I love the atmosphere portrayed through this piece. The background seems almost a clash against the gentle subject, yet it's a very nice touch. I love the pose of the subject. Very elegant, yet vulnerable. Lovely!

thankyou yeah I wanted the background to add a darker aspect to the scene in contrast with the figure. it was too boring before...
