Wow man when I first saw Fagan I thought how could one guy do a completely different but just as spectacular peice... then Mike showed me this lol. Only one word comes to mind when I see this, Awsome! I've read the book, and this fits just how I think Mike had her invitioned, but you also did better. So to sum it up awsome pic, you do great work, and Remember not everthing can die so in those cases Eve just destroys you LOL!

And then there is Eve, the hot chick in control... That is a nice outfit...
though her neck seems a little long, i did see a photo of a guy the other day whose neck probably was about that long... he looked freakish almost...

thanks man, yeah you were right I reckon. The model who was a base reference for this pic does have a very long slender neck, but I went a bit far. I think her head was a little small too. If ya get a chance drop back for another look now and see how she looks to ya. Cheers

the story concept sound great, ill be looking for a copy.
the image, the details are amazing. there are things everywhere that catch my attention. but the one thing that keeps drawing me back to it, seems like a void and at the same time not. eve, from the neck up, seems 2d. i dont know how else to put it, the clothes she wears pop giving depth, the zombies have depth and spring forth from the image. the background imagery gives a depth of field, even the tomb stone she is sitting on. but her head, just seems flat to me. hmmm. im not good at this, i dont know the right words. i just see an oddness that is throwing me off when i look at something that i am finding so complex and beautiful. i love how she is caressing the one zombie. sorry im weird. i really do enjoy this piece.

Thankyou for the feedback, If you get a chance please come back for another look, I have shaded her face and torso more suitably for the lighting, I'm still not sure it's just right. she's supposed to be ultra pale, so it's a fine line getting the shading right with no references. I'll come back to it tomorrow and see how it looks to me then.

she does look better, her features are better defined yet still keeping her porcelain skin. very much improved. ^_^ her face now looks like it has more structure, and she seems less bright than when i was viewing this morning. er yesterday, its now nearly 12:30am here. i just love this scene. you created a wonderful atmosphere and world in this image.

Hey I'm no artist either, I just like drawing stuff so I've done a lot of practice and picked up tips wherever I can. If someone can see something not quite right that I've missed in one of my pics I prefer to know about it so I can be aware it's something I need to work on so I get it right next time
I know some people do take offense though, unsolicited critiques are terrible if they've already done the best they can do and have no idea how to fix it, but if you can see the artist has just slipped up and failed to notice, I think most people would be grateful to know.
I think you did the right thing and it helped me out. Keep it up
