It's a nice representation. Is it charcoal, or ink? Is it on a large piece of paper or small?

Thanks for the comment. It's actually just darker shades of sketch pencils i used, and smudging. Unfortunately my scanner kept scanning him in really dark for some reason. You can actually see his hair shading/waves and such in the original. I'm plannin on re-scanning him again and hope he comes out lighter so it's clearer (as far as sketching goes).
As for the paper, it's a normal A4 sized one. I do all my sketches on those.
