Is the alienware good for drawing and recording me draw. 3d modeling and animations?? I won't use it for gaming but I will do the most with it with drawing and doing 3d rendering and animations and would want to take it to college with me in an art skool. I'm new to all the technical and such;-; if alienware isn't best for me for that then what would you recommend that's under the 1000$ budget??

I think Alienware is a bit overpriced if you're looking for performance, especially if you'd wanting to do 3D animation. If you want a descent laptop for under $1000, I would look into MSI, Asus, or Lenovo.

Hmm I know the lento is a good one^^ I just want something with high memory and ram to get great performances so that it won't crash when recording when I draw. Doing live streams. And also doing 2d and 3d animations all in one laptop. I thought and researched alot and alienware seems to be right but I'll look into those too^3^ Thank you

I still say the desktop is the way to go. I get that you might need the laptop for school. But if you can, somewhere down the line you should think about going with a desktop instead. You can get a MUCH more powerful system for a lot cheaper than you can with a laptop.

It's an Asus we had sitting in a closet in our house. Nothing too special. I looked on the back and the model # is KB34211 But I can't seem to find that anywhere online. It's kind of just a standard keyboard as far as I know. I actually prefer the keyboard on my laptop instead. This Asus keyboard isn't backlit and I have a tendency to look down at my keys from time to time. So when I work in the dark I usually have to turn on my desk lamp, lol. Plus I like the feel of the key on my laptop more.

Thanks, I have to say that the keyboard looks really nice. Mine is a cheap 10$ product and I guess I prefer a flat design.

dude... i think i do. every Ghost Recon game since Desert Siege for PC. Im only missing 2 splinter cell games and my old R6 Vegas' i lost to a friend lol. (double agent was garabage and the first one i cant find)

Ahhh. That's where you got me. I didn't join the PC gaming scene up until 6 months ago, so I didn't pick up Ghost Recon till the first xbox release.
Double agent was SIICKK! I think the only SC game I had issues with was Conviction and that's ONLY because I didn't quite get used to seeing Sam in his whole out for vengeance attitude. Probably should play through again just to be sure. I'm still torn on whether or not Assassins or Splinter Cell are my favorite games of all time
Definitely. I signed up for the beta but no response from Ubi. so I'll probably just wait till then to try out my invisibility cloak

Man, i WOULD have you beat if we were still playing GR and GR2 on PC. I tried playing GRAW on my new lap top and almost crashed it lol. PS2 and Xbox Graphics weren't and still aren't a problem. This new shit they got now is crazzzzy hard to run on my current set up. Not to mention im still stuck with Vista.
Conviction FOR ME, was a nice glimpse into what Ubi could've done with a modern AC. Did it fit well with the SC series? Yes and no. More no than yes seeing how it was the last installment. And like you said, Sam was a father and stealth agent not really a Max Payne of any sorts. Though he was pretty badass in Conviction. I was a HUGE AC fan... until Ezio got his own trilogy. I honestly couldn't even finish Revelations because i was so sick of that dudes voice (which didn't change a bit despite his aging lol) My dilema is SC or MGS haha. Sam or Snake
I signed up for the beta as well.... about a year ago lol. Still no word on a release of any sort. Kinda depressing and agrivating given that the game was supposed to be released almost 2 years ago. I am happy that they released the free to play GR: ONLINE [link] though that was supposed to be released a while back as well.

I know what you mean. I've actually been having issues with my system freezing up, going black, or just BSOD. All video card related (is what my error reports say) but I;ve replaced the video card, I've checked for overheating issues, I've installed new RAM and reformatted and I still get these random shutdowns :/ Definitely don't have to deal with that on consoles.
I agree and I;m curious to see if Ubisoft has been/will work on a modern AC title, because it will be interesting to see Desmond do his thing in the modern world. Sam is definitely no Max. But i am interested to play the new one. It's been a while since I've messed around with Rockstar. Still haven't played Red dead. Just too many games and not enough cash. And I've never owned a Playstation so I never got a chance to get into MGS, lol. None or my friends are into the stealth genre so it's just been me and Sam over the years
RIGHT!!?? Same with Hawken. I signed up for their Beta AND got three of my friends to sign up to guarantee my beta code and still nothing. I heard the same thing with Blizzard. They were really selective about who they gave beta right to for D3. Never heard about the GR Online news. I'll check that out.

The new Max looks ill. Im still kinda "Th'Fuck!?" about the whole story, because i could've sworn him and that chick both died in the end of 2. Either way Rockstar never disappoints. Red Dead is amazing, the only thing that kept me from finishing it was being stuck in mexico for about a month and having to look at the same desert over and over. Even after i moved on in the story i just never felt compelled to finish it. Maybe one day. I actually went back and started playing GTAIV again (yearly tradition lol). None of my peeps are into stealth games either... or tactical... or team based. Basically it feels like if its not COD no body gives a shit. Which sucks b/c COD is ass at this point.
D3 has had its street date changed more times than a condom at a frat party. I've been working at gamestop for about a year now and its been in our system since i started and keeps getting pushed back. I had my hopes set for SFxT since im a HUGE Street Fighter junkie. But honestly im pretty disappointed with it. Seems like most games nowadays are all hype and no substance.

It's the 15 inch that came out like 3 years ago. Alienware stopped selling that model and added the 11, 14 and 18 inch somewhat recently.
I got so used to working on that laptop screen that it was finally time for a monitor upgrade
