Happy Friday everyone. On and off for the last few weeks, and I have been chipping away at our first collaborative image; just something to keep us going in between client work and late-night insomnia.We had a blasty blast creating this piece (Zach's character on the left, mine on the right, and we tag-teamed the background) and it was a nice departure from the typical fantasy genres we're usually tasked with designing.
If anyone is interested we put together a set of wallpapers for you to download and use as you like. Hope you enjoy! BTW thanks to everyone that followed along on our Instagrams during the whole process. You guys rock.

Do you do commissions? I am getting ready to release my sci-fi novel and looking for a cover. The lead is a Female with space ships, Space Arks, War and mechs. It is the first of three books that will be in the series. Would you be interested? Your female art is strong and would be a nice fit. I want a bright cover that doesn't hide in the blackness of space but embraces the color and washing of light.

Rosella - Simmer, haha! Loosely, the story was that my character, the one on the left, is part of the United Space Police Force and tasked with chasing down Dylan's Character, on the right. My character comes from a prideful line of serving in the Police force and dylan's has been raised in the oppressive environment of the colonies. In the course of trying to catch the cyber punk girl, police girl gets captured and learns the truth behind the police regime she has been indoctrinated into. In the end they become allies and some shit goes down. That was all i needed to get me through creating the image but I might take it further!

I'm a sucker for a story, and even more of a sucker for an unique one. There isn't enough sci-fi craziness out there, man! Everyone's repeating the same biz. So kudos, I like it. I hope you do more with it. 8D

Wow...I love the contrast in this piece. Are these characters enemies, or is this a collaboration of characters from different stories?

We'd like to think of them as enemies. Zach started coming up with a particular backstory based on their appearances, but in all honest I just wanted to do something sci-fi for a change. I didn't put too much thought into my character's history.
