I’ve missed doing fashion drawings like this! Definitely wanna do more this year
For this piece, I was craving something regal but sexy, following a theme of royalty and… pets. HAH. A lot of fashion lines with a regal theme tend to be too maternal for some reason, so I went with Valentino’s Fall 2014 Couture line. The black sheer dress Bee ended up choosing for Naelia was the perfect blend of edgy, dangerous, and queenly. Meanwhile the coat I chose for Elliel was meant to evoke something lavish and spoiled, but a little wild too.
Most of the accessories are Balenciaga to bring back a more youthful air to the picture.

I was drawn forth by the FKA twigs lyrics on the title, and I do not regret anything. This is a masterpiece. And the fashion-- they look like they own the world and I'm 100% sure everyone will be okay with that.

Agh I love how you can tell when you've really really enjoyed yourself on a piece. LIKE I THINK IT'S CLEAR TO SEE IN MOST OF YOUR PICTURES BUT THIS ONE MAKES ME WANT TO TAKE A DEEP BREATH OF SATISFACTION FOR YOU LIKE Aaaah yeah that hits the spot.
I LOVE THIS NAFISAH I LOVE THIS SO MUCH I love that you went all out with the texturing and with the tiniest of details. The clothes all came out absolutely beautiful and they really really really look so natural and awesome. NAELIA'S SHEER DRESS IS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL AND HER SHOES ARE MY FAVORITE THING I THINK OUT OF EVERYTHING. And then I really really love how you did Elliel's furry coat. It legitimately looks like it feels soft and plush and I wanna pet it and snuggle into it and maybe into her too.
But yeah, I fucking adore this dynamic to bits and pieces and I think you did SUCH a great job capturing the details and making it feel natural and awesome.
