Description Just another random idea a friend gave me through AIM. A big girl dressed for winter.
I used photos as references for the clothes.

Oh, sorry. DA's system changed, and now you need to click "DOWNLOAD" to full view it. I may need to update all my previews images.
And no, I don't give a flying **** about views. It doesn't give me money or something like that, so I really don't care for it.

Sorry for the rant I just had too much of the "you only want pageviews" crap long ago, and it's kinda a pet peeve.

Naw, whatever. (I dun like it either...)

The eyes don't look as detailed as your previous works, especially her right eye. It kinda looks too blurry. Her lips and pants could have also used a stronger red color, unless you were going through a program like Open Canvas or Yahoo!. Then I could understand why it's like that. Nice job though.

Blah *generic my comp sucked comment here* I used a thick and blurry line, instead of the usual one I used to use. Yes, it was on OpenCanvas :3 suggestion: the watercolor tool is not good for lines
Thanks

Once more, the outfit rocks, as well as the extra insulation. I really like the full lips on her for some reason. Add a touch of something...dunno. *shrugs*

Since the comment "She'd keep me warm" has already been done, I'll forgo that one and just say "Great as always!"

Smooth coloring, but I think the detailing on the references are your only disadvantages.

dwarfpriest In reply to ReijiMaeda [2005-01-01 17:04:55 +0000 UTC]

The detailing is my disadvantages? You mean that they dont look good? I agree...

ReijiMaeda In reply to dwarfpriest [2005-01-01 17:08:55 +0000 UTC]

The coloring is great! It's just that the more you focus on an unspecified reference, you lose focus on the drawing. It happened to be before.

Ah, yeah. I noticed it too. I need to make the details look good in the whole pic. Thats one thing I need to work on my drawing style.

The coloring on this one is amazing-it's like you cleaned it up from your earlier oekaki colorings, basically.

You never cease to amaze me, man.

But thanks anyway

dwarfpriest In reply to SilentTakeshi [2004-12-30 23:45:46 +0000 UTC]

No, that was on Open Canvas. Yahoo doodle is smaller than 400x300.... the coloring is just a bit hard to handle.
