Well I noticed the crooked trees a long time ago in the 50's when I was a teenager. Still there is no chance they grow differently now. It is the wind coming up from the Atlantic along the narrowed path of the passage between England and France. I expect it is the same on the northern coast of France.
So, no, I haven't any photos.

The trees involved were conifers and tamarisk bushes about three metres high. They were in gardens right on the shore. Inland it wasn't as common.

I remember all my family being surprised.

Maybe Google would find them!
