Hilariously, Team JNPR are based off gender-bent versions of historical/mythological characters:
Jaune = Joan of Arc
Nora = Thor
Pyrrha = Achilles
Ren = Mulan

Oh hey! That actually makes a lot of sense! I knew who Jaune Nora and Phrrha were, but I didn't know Ren was based on Mulan. I guess I hadn't even put that all together lol - how do we know Ren is Mulan?Β
