Description Hey all, sorry for the lack of art posts, I'm crazy busy with work. Disney is keeping me hard at work as well as Ape Ent. and Viper comics.

Some Big News! I'm going to have a sketchbook available at the comic conventions! Wizard World Philladelphia will be the first one I'll have the books available at, and then I'll have them at the San Diego Comic Con and all the other ones. Here is one image that will be featured in the book along with many other. I used pencils, inks and prismacolor markers for this. I need to go back and tweak the color adjustments some more, but this'll do for now, hope you all enjoy!

your buddy,

Dustin

You know Mike Mignola designed this version of Mr. Freeze? Hence the awesomeness.

Great drawing; it makes me want those markers even more.

yes, the Mignola is an amazing talent. I really dig his stuff and his design work. He's always an inspiration for me. I have a book of his work near by all the time.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I need some new markers. Mine are all dried out.

About how long do those prismas last?

I've had this set for about a year. They have decent life, depending on how much you use a certain color.

YAY! Someone else who love the Prismacolors. And Mr. Freeze! My favorite Batman villian! Great job with the coloring, it looks perfect. If i have enough cash to head to the next Wizard World Philly, i'll try and look for your stuff.

Hey, thanks Azarath! Yah, I love the prismacolors, they're more enjoyable to color with than the computer I think, but I have a limited selection of colors. I need to pick up some more. Definately come see me at Wizard World Philly, I'll hook you up with a package deal or something. We're thinking of offering the sketchbook and Go-Go Gorilla for a special price or something to that effect Thanks for the comments!

I'll try to be there! When is it?

Prismacolors are my favorite. Pricey, and they have a bit of a learning curve, but i think you can do wonderful things with them.

Awesome! Hope to see you there. The Wizard World Philladelphia con is on June 3rd-5th, you can find out all the info here [link]

Yah, the prismas are a little pricey. It's taken me a lot of trial and error to use them the way I do, and I feel like I learn a little more everytime I use them, so that's kinda cool

Omigosh! The Prismas! They look so ice like! what a great feature! Beautiful job on the background! This will look nice in the scetch book. I love how the bright red on his goggles totally stand out from the rest of the pic. Good focal point.

Thanks Shelly! Really glad you like this pic, and you mentioned all my favorite aspects of it I really wanted the pic to come across as very cool and "ice-like", and of course the red in the goggles has always been a great characteristic of the animated syle freeze. I loved the first Batman animated show, so I tend to stick with a lot of those type of designs when I draw them too Thanks again!
