Under The Halloween Tree LightFeaturing: Pipkin from the children's book "The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury"

This is a character and tree are from one of my favorite books "The Halloween Tree" by Ray Bradbury.
I just wanted to make my own interpretation of Pipkin (the boy under the tree). he is one of the main character of this story, I don't want to give away to much but as you see he is in a ghost like state.
This piece was drawn in pencil and digitally edited. The print comes in 8x10 and 11x17 gloss with a white borders.

Under The Halloween Tree Light
This is a character and tree are from one of my favorite books "The Halloween Tree" by Ray Bradbury.
I just wanted to make my own interpretation of Pipkin (the boy under the tree). he is one of the main character of this story, I don't want to give away to much but as you see he is in a ghost like state.
In this version i decided to make all leave and pumpkins orange to give it an odd warm feeling, please tell me what you think.

Yes i have but i want a newer version of it with more of the book in it i own that cartoon and the book and i love both i just think with todays filming style an new version would look great

me and my mother would love if tim burton would do something like the corpse bride/ nightmare before christmas or liveaction. they really need to do another one not many know of this book or of the the movie

To even things out i might make one of the boys a girl but im not gonna make her the witch i might make her one of the other monsters

well in the movie they had tom who was the skeleton, jenny was the witch, raplah(im bad at spelling his name) was the mummy and wally was the monster

Yeah i know in the book though theres a few more thetes a guerrilla and death character a bumb and maybe one more and they where all boys in the cartoon version they made the whitch a girl for gender equality and also they didnt want a boy dressed as a whitch but in the book version the whitch ws a boy tho if i do this im planning on making the whitch a boy and do one of the other characters as a girl to show that girls dont have to be a whitch for halloween and also to show that boy can dress up as a whitch if thry want to
