Description
Being tone deaf means i never aspired to make a music nerd, yet here I am. I didn’t do well incorporating it into his personality though. Now the only thing is I’m expanding into flirty characters god help me.

Personality:=Flirt | +Playful | -Sadistic | =Open | =Talkative | -Pressuring | +Expressive | -Spoiled | +Competitive The skirt chaser of the century, he isn’t just tailing girls; sometimes he doesn’t even mean to, but will subconsciously flirt with anyone he finds attractive. It can be considered irritating, harassing, or even pleasant depending on the person in question. The matter of if he wants something more will always be up for debate. Who even knows when he wants something in return for his time? He will generally flirt with anyone, but he can’t take human courting seriously as he was raised with the idea that humans are food. And while ghouls are also considered food in desperate times, he prefers to think of them on more “equal terms”. He likes music on a level he doesn’t consider the same as ghouls or humans though. Music is his life.
He’s very playful over all when you get past the natural-tease in him. It’s not exactly in the best way though. His kind of “fun” is more brutal. He enjoys bringing pain to others, even Ghouls like him. The sight of blood excites and entices him to attack. The more gore, the better. A good fight makes him all kinds of happy. He's not about to hide it though; he is actually a very open and talkative person about anything and everything. He’s likely to be the first person to approach you and strike up a pickup line tirade conversation. He’s also the kind of person that doesn’t like to take no for an answer. He’ll push for what he wants, and his flirting generally turns into childish demanding.
B I O G R A P H YRoss’s parents met when his mother moved to Tokyo for better feeding grounds, and stepped onto his father’s ward (3rd) where he accused her of stealing prey. Initially, their meetings never ended well. Over time, they grew on each other, and with the territory leader’s permission, she was accepted into the ward and taught the art of ghoul hunting. Ross’s mother took well to cannibalism, surprisingly, and eventually the family settled with a child.
Having a son in the middle of the cannibalism district may have not been the best idea, but his parents were settled and ready to protect their little son. They never let him out of their sight or out of arm's’ length when he was younger. The overprotected feeling felt great when he was younger, always getting attention from mommy and daddy whenever he wanted. He was even attacked a few times, but never directly because his parents were there to come to the rescue. It was scary at first, maybe when he was between the ages of 3-8, but then it turned into a more spoiled nature. He could do anything and his mother and father would protect him. No questions had to be asked about the matter.
Around the age of 11, Ross began to want to branch away from his parents. He, the spoiled little brat that he had become from his sheltered life, demanded to go to school. Prior to this, he didn’t have much “human training”, so his parents said no. It was as simple as that: they had the stable income for it, but they couldn’t protect him from others or from himself. At the time, Ross didn’t understand that it wasn’t okay to eat a human in public. He would not take no for an answer though. He bugged and demanded, and even ruined hunts by just getting in the way, until his parents finally gave in and decided to give him lessons on “human etiquette” and his father trained him how to protect himself.
After a year of straight training, Ross was presentable to society. It didn’t mean his fighting training didn’t persist, much to his distaste because he disliked training, but now he was allowed to mingle at a school in the 20th ward. He could do it without his parents. Being around humans his age taught him that they were actually rather boring creatures. They were like sheep bleating at each other pointlessly. The only thing that passed the time, he found out, was flirting with girls to watch for the unusual reactions. Then he found music.
Music quickly became an inspiration, and Ross took every music class his school had to offer. Music was more fun than teasing humans to him, and he strived to get better and better. Because of music, he spent most of his time with humans that enjoyed it as well. He got into arguments over the subject of the human relations with his parents, but he always explained that he only thought of them as interesting food. They didn’t buy it, but it was true. Ross sought to be better than them in the musical world, mostly because he knew he couldn’t hunt in another ghoul’s territory and just kill them off.
His parents were getting busier and busier with hunting though, with weaker ghouls always dying off to feed stronger ghouls. His parents weren’t getting worse, they just spent less time with Ross. He actually had to fight a few of his own battles now, luckily it was just against ghouls weaker than him. He began to hunt for himself, sacrificing practice time. As any music player knows: if you practice less, someone will become better than you.
Eventually, someone became better than Ross.
He was furious at the other, an underclassman by one year, for something neither could control. He invited the kid out one day, taking him to the 3rd ward that was his home, and devoured him alive. The delight of crushing this human in an element that was beyond the underclassman’s comprehension was amazing to Ross, who hadn’t hunted a human because the only thing to attack him were ghouls. Obviously he’d been served human, but hunting it personally made it all the more appealing. He didn’t need to hunt ghouls when humans were so easy and satisfying.
Throughout the rest of his school years, he did the same process of hunting. He’d pick students off that were better at him at something or thought they were, befriend them with his playful charms if he could, lure them into his parents’ territory, and devour them. It was delightful. He was attracting too much attention though, and ghouls in the area chased him off. He could no longer go to school with 20th ward ghouls guarding. He believed he could eat the weak and peaceful ghouls of the 20th ward as well, but his parents forbade it. So he moved out of their territory as an act of independence.
At 18, he took his flute, clarinet, and other belongings and moved into the 1st ward. It was harder at first, adjusting and trying to fit in with the territory owners. He also had a money situation, but after a long while of doing gigs and lessons, he managed to survive.
G H O U L I N F O[Kagune: ] Binkaku // “Shining Tail”Because of his upbringing in the 3rd District, his parents taught him how to use his kagune effectively to protect himself more than anything. He can control it nearly perfectly, but his overconfident fighting style obscures his skills. He can’t really help it though. Other than that, it’s a basic Binkaku type made for balance of effectiveness in defense, speed and attack. He has a weakness for other, more specialized kagune at times.
[ Mask Representation: ] He wanted his love of music to reflect in his mask, but he’s also a simple guy. So therefore he had a simple mask made that didn’t get too much in the way of fighting or anything.

[ Trivia: ]
= In his free time, he’s a freelance musician that does gigs or lessons for money. He plays flute, clarinet, piano, and cello. He wants to learn violin especially.
= He does not own his own personal piano or cello, but does have a flute and clarinet. He can be seen taking his clarinet around with him.
= He has a very good memory and ear for detail. Rather than seeing details, he’s better at hearing subtle shifts in a person’s tone or hearing the footsteps of someone trying to sneak up on him.
= His voice is soft usually but slightly gruff (similar to Johnny Yong Bosch).
= He thinks out loud sometimes.
= His father was Japanese, and his mother was Scottish. Therefor his last name came from his father and his first name was picked by his mother.
= Having not faced any large travesties, because his parents protected him most of his life, he doesn’t take fights too seriously. It makes his skills poor, even though he is skilled with his kagune.
= He doesn’t actively eat ghouls anymore, but if offered he won’t turn it down. He’s not against cannibalism from growing up in the 3rd district.
= He owns his own small apartment in the 1st ward.
=While he has a superiority complex (especially with other musicians) his problems with not being better than someone don’t tend to extend toward ghouls. He actually doesn’t mind ghouls being better than him at things such as fighting, hunting, being human, et cetera. As long as they aren’t better musicians.
