Description
It seems that I have a new favorite character, so I decided to draw her! I discovered this pose from Season 8, Episode 22 (What Lies Beneath), just after she bypassed a waterfall. Loving it, I decided to enhance her pose with my current art skills, and give her a custom cheerleader outfit, to see how she looks like in one too!
Don’t worry, I didn’t glue her zip shut, so she’s good to go ^^
Program used: Photoshop CC 2018
Time taken: About 25 hours over a course of 4 days

2, 4, 6, 8. This piece came out pretty great!
First, allow me to compliment you on your improving art style. Your previous MLP works had a slight 2D feel to them, something completely absent from this one.
The detail is impeccable, demonstrated by the distinct creases in Silverstream's skirt, the frills in her pom-poms, the hairs in her mane and tail, the fluff on her chest, and even the sweat dripping down her neck and staining her uniform. The background scenery is just as detailed, slightly blurred to prevent distraction from the Hippogriff cheerleader. Meanwhile. the lens flare from the sun and the shadow casted add realism to the scene.
Aside from the technique, the best part is that Silverstream wasn't even a cheerleader in the referenced episode. This adds a degree of originality as the work avoids becoming a complete recreation of elements from said episode.
Of course, this doesn't completely make up for the fact that the illustration is derived from My Little Pony, hence the incomplete originality score. My eyes may deceive me, but it seems like the back half of Silverstream is very lightly out-of-focus. Perhaps it could be intentional, attributed to the angle of the sunlight and associated glare?

Okay, first thing? Very eyepopping, caught my eye as soon as I saw this thing.
Seriously, the colors are striking beyond belief. The red pops out nicely against Silver's pinkish feathers and blue mane.
Actually, everything's just that bright. And the detailing alone, I can see the beads of sweat trailing down her face and the little tufts of fur.
It's just that detailed.
The expression is adorable, it's like she knows someone -or some griffin- is watching and is quite pleased by this. It's a nice cross between sassy and happy. It's a good little mix. All in all? Nice work.
