Taking on board the comments regarding the previous versions, this is an edited version of Ever Onward (Still a work in progress).More comments and suggestions greatfully received as always.

the road goes ever on and on
down from the door where it began
now far ahead the road has gone
and I must follow if I can
pursuing it with eager feet
until it joins some larger way
where many paths and errands meet
and whither then, I cannon say
(remembered from 1977 reading of Tolkein LOTR trilogy)

I really like this.
although, the bushes on the right look a little odd, It almost looks like an over bumpmapped object. but its not that bad.
your bloom effect is awesome!!
you should however bring your depth of field up on the camera alittle towards us, so the ruins dont look so blurry.

Very nice work. I agree w/ the grass toward the foreground may need a little work, but the overall atmosphere of the locale is wonderful. Very dream-like and peaceful.

I love every thing but the lighting on the trees and the path that are close to the front of the image.
A bit too bright and fuzzy. Less than natural really.
I would say a simple darkening and you are good to greatness on this one M8!

Thanks! Yes, the grass closest to the 'camera' is not perfect. I will be trying to change it a bit. (Alternatively, I could just tilt the viewpoint up a couple of degrees - But that would be cheating!

Wowsa, quite an impressive work there. Im quite enamored with the bare tree branch at the top, that whole path through the canope to the sky is just shockingly beautiful.
