This is absolutley amazing, the water looks legit for sure. My only suggestion is changing the palm trees so there dont look like identical twins
I just started using Terragen and im absolutley loving it. Its my new favorite toy. I've only created one scene with it (Here ) If you could take a look and maybe give me some pointers or tips it would be greatly appreciated.

Everything is perfect : the water, the foam, the textures (the wet sand and the algaes <3), the sky, the terrain, the general atmosphere of the scene, exept... the trees. They are all identical and there are many erros at the level of the shadows. Everything else is splendid.

That is fantastic. The fact that you can create fantasy worlds with that Terragen program really amazes me.

The beach is very well done, very visually pleasing.
Certain niggles to think about (though as I've found this pic three years after you've posted it, you've probably improved terrifically in that time.) anyway: The wet-line (if that's what it's called) of the sand is a little too regular, is there any way of giving it the curved effect of waves? As opposed to the constant distance from the edge of the sea all round?
Oh, and the way you've placed clones of the same palm tree at the same angle makes the trees look unnatural and cheap. If you have to use the same tree, rotating each clone a little and scaling somewhat would improve that. The shadows of the trees don't intersect properly either, but that's the renderer's fault, not yours.

Nice render, but noticed just on the first view that the trees was duplicated, and that took my attention. But itΒ΄s me
The shadows of thew trees are a little odd too. Where they cross each other, can be seen the lines of the each shadow.

Very nice. The textures blend perfectly, but there is something wrong with the shadows for the palm trees, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
Maybe the trees would look better if you darkened them a little. They look like they are somewhat translucent.

Wow, that's really awesome. The trees look very similar to me, maybe it would be better if you could have them more obviously different? Also, to me at least, the shadows of the trees should be pointing more towards the left hand side of the picture. I love the water, and the hills.

very beautiful.. the only major thing that tipped me off is the palm trees.. i live in florida, so i guess im especially picky.. but if they were even just a little bit more different than eachother it would look so much more realistic.. beautiful job though

oh ya... been using this one as a base for my latest devs, using as inspiration and what not... i think, what i should do next is make the wet sand fade into the dry a lot more... that would look good

Hmm, tree's seem a little transparent, over ll a lovely scene, maybe needs a few more layers in between the color changes, but still a very serene piece
