Sure, but d5000 doesn't have AF-motor so you'll miss the AF, but then again manual is what you are using on macro photography Sigma and Tamron are maybe better options for d5000, they have AF IIRC.

Thanks. Its little bit over 1:1, about 1,5:1. Shot with 100mm macro and extensiontubes with sb600 flash.

Thanks for the comment. Didn't use reverse lens on this one, but cheap extension tubes with macro lens, that's why the exifs.

Ah, fair dos, I was looking at some before commenting on your piece and having looked at the detail you picked up I've very tempted to get one...

Excellent work, as I said, it's great when someone can pinpoint the composition on an insect.
