yeah... werkin on Youth Snaps images from a couple of weeks ago for the local art prize.. and on my tiddly little laptop ( I miss my 24" screeeeeen) on account of the studio machine is at the cleaners. I took adavantage of being in Thredbo last week skiing to get the old girl cleaned out.. now a coupla more days off got this problem... no can drive and LL (long suffering partner) is in Syd so I am housebound... fek...

Ah the trials and tribulations of being artistically inclined. Yes big screens are GOOD! I use a 46" Samsung LED to view files on sometimes. Overkill, but it gives me the ability to see 30" x 30" prints actual size. And skiing? What's snow? I haven't seen that since living in Japan!

CG is a great person to know and I'm over the moon to hear she's sold work. It's been yonks since I exhibited in your part of the world. I think the last show I was in was Erotic Newcastle II, and that was only because I curated it. Even then I hijacked the concept off Nick who was the curator at the Newcastle Regional Art Gallery then. He did the original show at the 249 Gallery in King St. That was a great space, very sad to see it go.

yeah interesting technique as well photographing using his mobile phone shooting what is dispalying in the viewfinder of the Hasselblad... I gave it a try weekend before last and got these horrible hot spots.. will try it again tho, cos it really looks good
