WTF are you even saying!? Are we reading the same comic because this sure made me laugh? The technique is fine and he'll improve more as he goes along. I know you have his best interest at heart but do you have to give such an unfair rating? This is waaaaay better than most of the stupid drawings that I see from artists who don't take drawing seriously.

Wow, this is visually impressive! The emotions are great and the character design, especially on the lion, is fantastic. I'm mostly impressed by the fluidity of the style, which lends itself very well to the sudden comedic changes, as well as the striking color & shading word, which is pretty much perfect.
I'm not sure what it is about your chibis that are so endearing, but you've reached professional grade stuff with them, let me tell you. I am not exaggerating when I say you're at the point where you could very well sell your art or start a full-blown webcomic with its own domain. I like the "diary comics" spin you have going, but either by yourself or with a writing partner, you could very well have a massive following on a fiction series.
