Thanks, glad you like it, results with tracing paper masks can be very inconsistent, but it can really work for some photos.

Gorgeous photo, very dreamlike and antique. Also, Holgas are the best.

Thanks, glad you like it, yeah tracing paper really gives a cool look to film, and its only enhanced by the Holga's soft focus.

Thanks, glad you like it. A photo teacher showed my class how to use tracing paper with Holgas so some of my classmates and I tried it ourselves, what was interesting was that even though we all tried the same idea, because we used different different materials, we all got very different results.

Yes it was, actually it was a whole class devoted to toy cameras.

Wonderful; i've no idea how you achieved this effect.

Duffy01 In reply to sensesoverload [2010-07-29 05:48:35 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, glad you like it :] I got this effect by putting tracing paper inside the camera, in between the film and the lens opening where usually the 6x6 or 6x6.5 mask would go.

Thanks, glad you like it. Yeah I learned that with this mod that because the focus is so obscured, you have to focus more on basic shapes then overall detail, which is why I think this photo works.

yeah, that makes sense and it works really well, it reminds of a dream, like it's something I would dream of with it all blurred like that, so yes, i just love it
