Been a while since I uploaded a Duckyworth's Thoughts review illustration, and I'm happy with how this one came out. This is the illustration for my review of the 2009 Celtic adventure - The Secret of Kells!

A heavenly movie for a heavenly treasure.

I DIDN'T include Abbot Cellach in here... because as you can imagine by the hate I have for him..... I couldn't draw myself to draw him....
Anyway, this is me as a monk in Kells (I myself am not a religious person, but I do love how the monks and religious people in this film are designed ), using the Eye of Column Cille to draw an illustration the Book of Kells in the Scriptorium, while Brendan, Aidan, Pangur Ban and, peering around a door, Aisling, watch. For some reason, I STILL think Aisling reminds me of a mixture between Zorua from Pokémon: Zoroark Master of Illusions, Okami Amaterasu, the Cat from Coraline - as they both have a habit of popping up out of nowhere, and Krista from FernGully, due to her relationship with nature.
She almost made it on my favourite Female Characters list, by the way, due to her being a powerful creature, but still acting like a curious child and being very fun, curious, playful and likeable.
