Description
This was a commission piece one of three, for Gekko. Size was 11x15 with pencil. It was a request to revamp the comic character ISIS. I was in a time constraint of four hours to complete it, which includes the initial concepts and thumbnails. On top of that throw in the extra research on Egypt and four hours seemed too short!Isis is a goddess of magic, life and death. She's currently stepping out of the wall to bust somebody's ass. By her expression, she's gonna enjoy it big time. She's wearing the ankh belt with a scarab headdress which is her symbol and holding a lotus shaped staff. Along her neck is the hawk head necklace, also a symbol of Isis. Enjoy.

after they plastered it all over cable, it was hard not to get sucked in. I'm slowly climbing out now but still can't see the light. Yes, I draw in the dark. K K K K

First look I thought she was leaning agest shelfs so when I saw that there was no elbow I thought "where's her elbow?... Ahhh ghost!"
That is really good. I need to get some pencils to draw with. I've been using the same pen to draw that I use at school. Plus I have accounting and pens are much too unforgiving for whatever minor mistakes I would make.

I love the details : the crack on the cartouche when her arm step out of the hieroglyph ,the way you do her hairs and chest's armor .This one with colours could be awesome :i imagine gold and lapis- lazuli to make lighting effects ^^
