Brains sometimes insist on connecting things where there's little reason to do it, isn't it?

Thinking of Batman when I come across "commissioner" is at most a second thought for me Now this remind me of that Batman movie with Heath Ledger. There was, IMHO, a greatly depicted young Lieutenant Gordon and a very well depicted Harvey Dent, but I cannot help it, Heath Ledger was a IMHO a poor choice (judging from the looks) even though he made an excellent play (while that sort of behavior was not exactly what I expected from The Joker).

Really? I thought he great (it was also one of my favorite movies though) and I did think he worked extremely well for the feel of the movie.
However, my favorite Joker is the one from Batman The Animated Series with Mark Hamill doing the voice

Did you see Under the Red Hood? A different kind of Joker in that one too, at first I didn't like him but then as I continued to watch the movie I felt he was right for the feel of the movie.

Heath Ledger was doing a very good Joker - play-wise. Maybe I could not get used to how he looked. And... While he was playing a madman, I found he was too serious - hey don't laugh! With that Lieutenant Gordon, Harvey Dent and, well, also Batman in place, I was missing the twisted, mean sense of humor from the comics. My favorite Joker might have been Jeff Goldblum, but I guess he's too old now. Maybe Zachary Quinto . Or this guy: [link] (Also note her avatar )

I fully understand why Heath Ledger became famous because of his Joker. He was extremely good - just only part of what I imagined.

Under the Red Hood? I vaguely remember a few comic pages about a guy who was forced to wear some kind of red helmet during a robbery, the plan failed, that guy fell into some chemical stuff and became the Joker. A quite sad story... Other than that, no, I haven't. Hmmmm... There are some pieces on Youtube... This here fits my imagination of the joker quite well: [link]
