Does Blaze's tail go zig-zag every time she goes into this form?
And for a moment, I'd thought that you have used Photoshop to secretly sneak in some real rocks before placing them in the background. :'D Too good to be true, those rocks resemble a close up inspection of some igneous rocks! (The magma kind, fresh out of a volcano. 
Fiery and silky cuffs plus tail really demands for my attention.
Overall, I would prefer the background over the character, but given the combination of various greys and reds and yellows, I can definitely say that "I'm playing with fire here".

I didn't cheat with thay rocks for once :'D This is what happens when you take half-non-efforted-red-rocks and drown them in effects

So let me get this straight.
Blaze is Fire.
Silver is Psychic.
Sonic is Thunder.
Tails is Fly.
Knuckles is Fighting/Ground.
Shadow is Dark.
Cosmo is Grass (or that floaty thingy with psychic powers)
and Charmy is Bug...

If anything, it would be Speed or Wind, but theres no Pokemon type for that... So Normal I guess... XD

Oh yeah, Thunder Shoot from Sonic Heroes, performed by the flying characters, so that would make him Thunder/Flying, and I guess Sonic WOULD have Fly/wind powers. =w=
