Wow, this is really pretty.... she doesn't look to be flying (to me) but the pose is cool, and the setting is just lovely (nice misty effect)

Great picture! It makes me really wish that people could fly and be freed from the constraints of gravity.

A very interesting addition to the surrealistic vision gallery. There are several things to like here. First of all, there is the colour. The colours of the background and the subject match perfectlyβthe one does not draw attention to the other. Considering that this is a composite image that is very impressiveβI've never been able to get them that good! It also shows that some serious thought and effort went into this piece.
The second is the imposition of static vs motion. You couldn't ask for a better background to denote static: fog, damp pavement, fallen leaves, drooping branchesβyou can almost hear the hushed silence pounding in y our ears just looking at it.
Finally we have the restraint in using the vignette. Too often vignettes draw attention to themselves rather than enhancing the photograph. This is a good example of how it should be done. Light at the top draws us first and then we naturally follow down to the darkness. Just enough of a hint of mystery to keep the interest all the way through. This would make an awesome gallery hanging or a picture puzzle. Very subtle.

good concept, but try and remember the golden rule of composition...
don't put your subject directly in the centre of the picture
