I prefer that approach rather than 'lol nice' because it tells the artist exactly what it is they appreciated about that specific picture. Anyone can make a simple 'lol nice' comment, but what about it made it 'nice' to begin with? What stood out to you the most? That is what I call true artistic communication, and I sincerely and humbly mean that.
