Jesus christ, your horse anatomy seems to be firmly rooted in that skull of yours. Do you or have you had an obsession with anything remotely horse-ish? I have a feeling you have/had. Judging by the kickass horse anatomy you're capable of and that horse-related rant that clearly shows some mastery of horse related information.

I freely admit I am horse obsessed, and I never really grew out of it. (Supposedly most girls do, but not me.) Horses are what I doodle when I'm bored, so they have probably gotten the most drills and motif practice as a result.
But I own a horse and ride every weekend and have a giant Breyer and Grand Champions collection, and in each of my three fantasy world that I write in there are three major equine characters.
So, yeah. Horse obsessed, along with dog, cat, and dinosaur, while we're at it.

Excellent perspective and as Swiftclaw said, your anatomical knowledge really shows. My only question is concerning the head. Is it a headpiece/armor or simply the skull showing through?

It's warpaint, as far as I know. The character design wasn't mine, but I think that's what it was.
