A caricature commission of Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) forAhh, nostalgia from my childhood. I used to love watching The X-Files as a kid. Great spooky show, that. This one was a lot of fun to do! It's always so great to get these caricature commissions from time to time~
Anyway, hopefully it's a decent likeness--haven't done a caricature in a while, so it took a bit to get back into the groove.
Aaaand now I should go to bed.

Scully is quite pretty, I don't think this captures that. Then again, your caricature of yourself doesn't do you justice either.

Wrong-o Misty. They're supposed to be exaggerations, but they aren't supposed to highlight only the negative features. You can exaggerate both the negative and the positive. Simplify and exaggerate.

X-Files was pretty great at first, but I remember it losing its way somewhere along the end. (As in, they were being cancelled, but they didn't bother to wrap anything up...)

Ah yes, the show that helped started all of the recent spooky shows. I myself have never seen an episode of this show, but I might someday..... Might.
Anyway, she looks pretty good in your style, Misty. You're really good when it comes to drawing humans in cartoon form.
Fun Fact: Gillian Anderson also did the voice for Moro, the giant wolf goddess and San's adopted mother from Princess Mononoke. I know, totally random, but it's worth mentioning.
