It's amazing. I have just read the original story and I am amazed by your version of the text. It's clear, it's beautiful and poetic. And your illustrations have made me understand a few thing about the place where the character had been so thanks !

Yet another great choice in art style for adaptation; the black-and-white Popeye look for a story about maritime horror, especially because Fleischer Studios started working in animation in the early 20s, shortly after the "sailor" recorded his tale.
