I've been really wanting to get better at pixeling. It's so difficult! I used this picture as kind of a testing ground for shading technique, trying to figure out how to texture fur and feathers. Let me know what you think!Also, this is my character Dreya, so this is NOT to be used by anyone else.

Yeah, something like that. I wanted to do ears blowing in the wind, but I'm not sure how many panels I need/how long to repeat the action. XD We'll see what I can come up with.

aw ya i know how that is. and ya same here. GIMP can animate, is free, and seeing as how you are a mouse user you should be fine (it did weird things with my tablet that annoyed me) ^^

I downloaded GIMP a while ago and tried it out, but the format just completely threw me off. I couldn't get used to it. Maybe I'll try it again sometime, but for now I think I'll just deal with iaza.

I think it looks great! l3 As far as textures go, I've never been good at pixel-ling, so I don't really have much advice to give other than anatomy. o3o Any wrong placed pixel could mean the difference!

Hrmn.... That back foot is the only thing I can really see right now. Rather than facing the front paws, it should be more facing the viewer... if that makes sense. XD

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess my problem with it was I wanted to show the front of the back paw, but had no way of designating it as that, because it's so small...hmmm. I'll try to fix it!

XD I want to work on pixeling avatars with shading AND animation, because I'm still not very good at it, but it looks so cool! Also, just so you know, I'm still working on your Kiriban prize.
