Hey guys,This is one of my original characters, Wendy Mavero, wearing as many Nintendo things as I could think of and (of course) holding a Wii remote.
For those who do not know, Wii is Nintendo's next bundle of joy due available by the fourth quarter of this year. In light of the recent E3 convention and all of the unveiling of Wii goodness, I decided to do a semi fanart involving one of my characters. I thought that Wendy would make the perfect fangirl.
This was done in Adobe Photoshop CS in a total of about 6 hours (most of which was thought process). Wendy is (c) me, Andrew T. Green. All of the Nintendo materials (the triforce earring, the Yoshi embroidery, the Pokeball, the DK tie, the pokeball pin, and the Pikachu pin, and the Super Mario Mushroom pins and anything I may have forgotten) are (c) and/or TM of Nintendo.
PLEASE FULL VIEW THIS DEVIATION. I know it's big, but that's just so you can see all of the nice little details put into it.

Twilight Princess all the way! We are going to have to like preorder it like now if we even want copies of it...if they even do preorders since it'll just come out with Wii...I'll just call off work and wait at walmart for 2 days straight to get it, then call off 5 more days to play it nonstop. lol. I can't waitttt. My brother is getting PS3 and Wii (because he's rich and gay like that) so I'll probably just play his PS3 until I can afford one.

Twilight Princess will actually be coming out for Wii and Gamecube, but I bet the Wii version will be tons better.
And I can assure you that 5 days will not be enough to beat the game. It's common knowledge now that the game contains over 100 hours of gameplay. It makes me squeel like a school girl.
The PS3...no thanks. It may have supernice graphics, but I dont want to sell my liver....or my soul. I'm not that enthusiastic. I talk to Sony fans who are always saying "I'm gonna get the PS3 on realease day!" Then I ask them "where are you gonna get the money?" The answer is usually "I dont know," or "I haven't thought about it much."

haha, yea. I'm even working now and I can't imagine affording a PS3, so like I said, I'm gonna play my brother's to get my fill until the ungodly price goes down. I should be able to get Wii by the release date though, have any preorder dates or release dates come out yet? If so I'd looove to know what they are. I can't wait for Wii, wheee! hehe.
Anywho I'll have some paintings I did in art class on here in a few weeks. I'm particularly excited about the portrait of Claudio (yes, Claudio again lol) I'm working on right now. Should be pretty sweeetttt.

It'll be a while before the PS3 price goes down because of the (I think it's called) Blue Ray technology (for the HD stuff, which is dumb because most people dont have HD tvs). It's expensive to make.
No release dates or preorder dates have been revealed yet, I dont think (although I'm about to check a Nintendo blog called Infendo to see if they have any news on it). I dont know why they didn't reveal the dates and prices at E3. Oh well, we'll find out soon.

They want it to be suspenseful! Well I'm about to pee myself about it and that's enough suspense for me. I got an email today from gamestop about preordering Twilight Princess for GameCube...so I guess you can do that now. Other than that I have nooo idea.
I've been wanting to draw lately and it hasn't been working out for me...it's making me sad. I think it's because I've been painting so much lately...I dunno. Speaking of, I finished my painting of Claudio today. I'll have both of my paintings up next week sometime.

Apparently, Nintendo has recently been quoted in saying that the Wii itself will cost no more than $250. The exact price was not specified, but that's plenty cheap to me!
I know how it is to have an artist's block, I have them all the time. You'll get over it eventually, but I suggest taking the time to do something to take your mind off of art. For me, it is video games, and that inspires me. What about yourself?

Yea I actually am getting back into my Kingdom Hearts, which got put on hold with school, prom, and work all coming first. But now that's over (except for work. blah) so I've been playing again and it should inspire me considering I did start a KH painting I never got to finish so...all is well ^.^
I can't wait for Wii. I'm trying to save up enough to get it, but wow $250 is only two paychecks or so for me, so that's great! Plus if I get my holiday money early I should be able to get it with no problem. The only bad thing is I am looking into an ipod as well so...we'll see how it goes. PS3 is totally out of the question for a long time for me, which kind of saddens me but they're shooting themselves in the foot with a $600 gaming system. Wii is definately going to do better. Keep me posted with preorder dates and all that though!

I have indeed, and I was giddy with excitment when I saw it!
I wouldn't wear the earrings (I'm a guy), but every now and then, bright colors can be appreciated, so you could easily see me wearing the Yoshi bag. ^_^
