Patrol Frigate of Russian Navy, it's considered as the smallest Frigate of Russian Navy currently have, 3 Ship are build, first one laid down in 1993, and commissioned in 2001 the second are commissioned in 2005 and the last one are in 2011.
Service in Russian Navy:
Caspian Sea
it's deployed in Caspian sea to support the Anti Terrorism in the southern part of Caspian Sea, 2 Ship are deployed there.
the caspian Version of Gepard are mainly focus in Anti-Submarine and Pirates, it's called Pr.11661K1, It currently hold 4 Missile Launcher.

Black Sea.
the sole Gepard in Black sea are Docking in sevastopol, it was originally deployed in Caspian, but after the Annexation of Crimea, one of the Krivak II Are heavily damage and forced to retire early, so they deploy the one of the three gepard there, it's Also another Version of Gepard, its the Pr.11661K2, it have 8 VLS Holding AShM/Ballistic/AAM.

the Russian Navy planned to acquire another 1 Pr.11661K2 and 4 Newer Pr.11661K3 to replace the ageing Krivak II/Grisha/Parchim Class in Service, it was one of the cheap supplement by the new russia to cover the cancelled Project caused by the Financial crisis happening right now.
