Description Decommissioned as USS Cyclone PC-1, Acquired later by the Philippine Navy Under the Foreign Military Sell, Commissioned under the newly formed Littoral Combat Force of the Navy, US Navy originally wanted to retire all of its Cyclone Class and sell it to the philippines, But after a serious Confrontation, US Navy delayed its retirement and send more cyclone on Persian Gulf.

Philippine Originally wanted to acquire 12 Patrol Craft to the US, to replace it's old fleet of Aggressive Class Minesweeper Corvette, in 2022, US Navy retire it's 7 Cyclone Class PC Stationed in Bahrain, they are bought by the National Defense of the philippines.

They are Commissioned as BRP Mariano Alvarez PC-397, BRP Mariano Ponce PC-398, BRP Juan Luna PC-399, BRP Mariano Trias PC-400, BRP Trinidad Perez Tecson PC-401, BRP Miguel Malvar PC-402, BRP Francisco "Turko" Boayes PC-403 & BRP Jose Alejandrino PC-404, PC-398 to 404 are Commissioned in February 19, 2022.

They are upgraded in Israel Shipyard, the PC-397 to PC-401 Are the only one fitted with Spike NLOS Naval Short Range Anti-ship Missile , and "Fitted for, but not with" Manpad and Depth Charge on the back.

they replace the Kagitingan Class and Aggressive Class.
