This painting is an homage to three other works of art; The literary/cinematic masterpiece "Fear and loathing in Las Vegas," the animated antics of Ren & Stimpy, and the original combination of the first two into a cartoon parody by an artist named Justin Smith (1999). I copied Smith's drawing, then added the words "Fear & Loathing," which I designed to mimic the text in the title of "the Ren & Stimpy show." Painted in acrylic on canvas (8x10)Related content

That's really neat. Ren and Stimpy were two of my favorite characters from the 1990s. Nice mixture of styles. I really like the colors.
