Haha, so you all remember my baby boy Kevin's mama Lauren? I drew a headshot of her last year, and that was like one of the only two drawings of her I ever did of her since then. And with how much my art style and practice has changed and evolved since then, looking back at them now...well, they're not the best iterations in comparison to what I have now.

So the only logical solution? A REDRAW. AND BOY, AM I HECKING PROUD OF IT FEHUEUAHUFH I did keep some aspects of the old design I had for Lauren, but otherwise a completely fresh take was done on her, as I wanted to really express her and her family's Icelandic/Nordic roots, which meant quite a bit of research and Pinterest surfing went into this Rune marking definitions, Norse geometric pattern designs, Viking/Icelandic attire, you name it. Putting it all together, I'm very happy with how she came out!! Because I'm so extra, though, I decided to add in her casting a fire spell even though I honestly don't know shit about how to do fire properly >.> , cause why fucking not?
