needs more word balloons for a Bendis story... and plenty of ellipsies and lots of "uhm" and repeating words ad some "ya know"s tossed in for good measure.
I dig the dude but it's the same thing with Kevin Smith for me. I love your dialogue. But when EVERY character talks the same it isn't good.

Too true. I'll still read Bendis, just not his super hero stuff. I'm selling my Powers comic collection even though I have not read it yet. I figure if i haven't read it now i wont in future.

yeah, Bendis' creator owned stuff (re: his crime comics) rocked and had original voices and fun writing. not the biggest fan of the superhero stuff - though sometimes i dig his daredevil a lot.
i plan on ditching a bunch of comics too. with digital books being so easy to get a hold of these days, money being difficult to grab hold of, and me no longer digging comics as a whole, the space the comics eat up in my home, etc... i don't plan on holding onto many of my comics. sadly, not many are worth anything.

Monetary no, but I tell you I saw some Jim Aparo Batman covers and general 80-90s comics and I miss them. I used to be why don't they computer colour everything. Nowadays it's like can't they bring flat colour? I swear I can't be pleased. But colours are overkill now.

i just think they need to work on making comics cheaper. i can't afford them anymore and if i could i don't think they're worth the price. cheaper paper, cheaper printing, etc... comics are no longer a collectors game. they're for reading. in fact it's hard to find anything art related that's collectible - with the exception of original art and the like. music, films, tv, books, comics, etc... all digital. no one needs them. they wanna have their ipads and view it that way. and that's the future... need to get with it or die trying.
