Description
So, I guess this is kind of an OC. This is Scarlet-Spider (aka Katherine May Parker). This is version 2 of her costume, and I love it way more than the first costume I created. And yes, it was inspired by Miles Morales' costume.

She exists in my own universe where both Gwen Stacey and Peter Parker were bite by the same spider on the same day (kind of like in 616 with Peter Parker & Cindy moon). Aunt May walked in on Peter while he was undergoing his transformation and contacted a "friend" of Peter's parents. A friend they told her to call if Peter is ever in danger. So enters Phil Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. who takes Peter away with May and Ben to a secret facility where he can be checked out and trained on how to use his abilities. Peter spends 10 years at this facility undergoing testing and being trained by Natasha Romanov and eventually becoming an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.. He only ever leaves when S.H.I.E.L.D. needed on a mission.

In the meantime Gwen has become Spider-Woman and is protecting NY from street crime and minor supervillians. Occassionally teaming up with the FF4 and the Avengers. S.H.I.E.L.D. realizes that her powers are very similar to Peter's, but that they don't appear to be as developed since she hadn't gone through the intense training that Peter had. Peter and Natasha figure out that she has to be someone who was on the field trip with Peter and manage to narrow it down to Peter's friend and former crush, Gwen Stacey. S.H.I.E.L.D. asks Peter to approach her for verification but when he does, things get crazy and the Spider DNA sends their hormones surging, incuraging them to mate. Only Natasha's intervention prevents it from happening and Gwen agrees to go with them to S.H.I.E.L.D./Avengers HQ to be tested.

Peter, now Spider-Man (not that the public know his secret identity), is introduced to the world as the newest Avenger and an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. As the years go by Peter and Gwen fall in love and get married. Eventually having kids. Their oldest child, a girl, is named Katherine May. And when puberty hits, her spider powers kick in. Like her Dad she is recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. and goes through training, though her parents refuse to allow her to be used as an assassin like Peter had been originally. She ends up joining the Young Avengers, a group of super-powered teens being trained by S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers to be the next generation of superheros.

I want to draw up her Young Avengers teammates as well. Maybe do a group pic of them?
