This one is dedicated to those lovers that were appart by destiny, by their complicated differences but yet their love is so true, and deep that is even Ethereal. It's magic like themselves. They close their eyes and are the same and with a tender kiss time and space are no longer in between them.Just imagine a love between an angel and an elf.

A friend told me that this works resembles the chorus of the song "Heaven's a Lie" from Lacuna Coil.
The elf will say to the angel:
Dolefully Desired
Destiny of a lie.
Set me free,
Your heaven's a lie.
Set me free with your love
Set me free.
Since elves don't believe in a God nor in the after life. Interesting Huh?

Can't believe this drawings has so many views and favorites!!! It has been marked as favortite at least 15 times each month! I made a new version of it and wow.... now this one looks ugly
I made her facial features more defined and softer and the new one has more contrast.

Hi, thanks!! The symbol on his shoulder does have a significance. There are some symbols that identify each angels, but that mark is a costumized mark. I cannot say the name of the person that inspired me to do that work, so that symbol represents the person. And even after many years the person related will only know its meaning.
