I was unsure where to put this one. The model for the Wicked Witch of the West is Judy Thornton [ I figure I would put her soon to be married name ] This is apart of my OZ editorial, makeup is by MAC. Outfit we rented from Lucy's in Disguise of Diamonds (facebook link [link] ) Go like their page and it would be nice if you told them we gave them a shout out . All you cos-play people would go nuts in that place. We're talking thousands upon thousands of costumes and the staff is brilliant. Okie reason I had no clue where to put this is because I do give a shout out to the movie made in 1939 when I painted on the flying monkey [better known as a winkie] on her calf for a tattoo. Making it like ehhh this might need to be put in fanart. We all know that monkey is not an original idea since it is the idea of the art director of the movie. Why haven't the others been put into fan art... well it's because I feel the book was published in 1900 and artist editorial differences have now been published since then a thousand times over [Tinman and Wicked to name a few] Like this is my editorial take on all the characters. Again I was the photographer, editor, and art director on the shoot. Obviously artistic editorials. I mean she doesn't have one eye and there is no umbrella [like in the book]. Hope you enjoy.

Plus the whole entire background is painted but I did have help from my tree stock that I have taken photos of for a while now so I felt this one might be better suited for manip then mixed media. Because I did use two photos of mine to piece it together. The moon was painted from my imagination of starring at the moon. I do love my moons [I must have been a wolf in another life]
