Description
Medusa is a creature from Greek mythology. She's one of three monstrous sisters, the gorgons. Her hair consists of living snakes and her gaze transforms everyone who looks directly in her eyes into stone.

I've always loved the gods, godesses and monsters of Greek mythology. I think my first encounter with it was the game The battle of Olympus for the NES, and I remember how the game's booklet was filled with illustrations and info about the different characters and beings. That game and other things from popular culture, like Disney's Hercules amazed me and kept me interested about Greek mythology. One of my favourite beings is definitely Medusa, and I especially love the depictions of her that include a serpent lower body.

This drawing was kind of hard, but still very fun, to do. I'm proud of the result!
