They say long ago that perhaps their ancestors were driven into the sea... But wouldn't they be surprised to find out just how many places The Shesteriah have evolved and adapted to...This is a Basic Flightless Shestirian. One of the many creatures that inhabit the world in my books <3 They are roughly the size of a small Arabian horse.
There are 8 Subspecies of Shestiriah adapted to different climates as well as terrain, each with their own unique attributes and abilities. They say there are also 3 mysterious sister species that have evolved beyond the normal limitations, finally breaching the realm of elementals! But then again, that was just an old elder's tale... wasn't it?
I was thinking of allowing some friends to design one of the subspecies, or maybe even one of the Mysterious sister species... But I guess I'll see if there's any interest first by showing a sketch. If no one really cares, I'll forgo uploading my colored pics as well as all the backstory (save myself a ton of work XD) and just stick this one in storage. ^^

Mmm, I been trying to devolope something like that but based off elements for a long time xD; Gotta get my lazy arse up and finish them!... but yah, this one looks nice :0 I am interested in what abilities it has?

* This is a great species. I would like to see the subspecies to them^^ for a sketch this if wonderfully done. I've also finished coloring the Lasarian I'm making but couldn't shade it right it is posted in my gallery unfinished^^

`I saw him and fell in love in a second. He is so graceful and sleek it makes me want to own one. I can't wait to see the others and even more so the sister ones. it gets me all excited to think about what they could look like.
His neck bothers me though, :/ i know its simply because it tappers off at the bottom and is bigger at the top and i am not used to seeing a neck drawn in that way but its just me. i love it and it fits well with the over all picture, it's just odd to look at for me.
Ah well, i can't wait to read your books!

I really like the way they "fur" flows and the tail wisps behind the Shestiriah and the face is very detaild and very proud looking ^^ i think the whole 8 subspieces and 3 speacil sister ones sounds like a great idea :3 .
