Verdane species is c to and myself.

Verdanes
Going back to the beginning, A government facility is doing experiments, and accidentally opens a portal to another dimension. They can't sustain the portal though, so it closes... But as a result of their experiments they have linked our world with Lukra, a dimension similar to our world, though more lush with vegitation and at a timeline similar to the futal japan era. The most intelligent and dominant species of the dimension being the Verdane.
Verdane are a species of Canid-like creatures who possess mystic qualities not unlike the mythical dragons of our world. They are all born under an element, such as fire or water, which help to dictate the fancy colours that shine amidst their Kirin-like scales. Not all Verdane have the ability to call upon the power of their born element,in fact, most can not use any poswer from their born element. Though, some of the lucky oness are born with the true ability to manipulate the element as awell as call upon its vast powers and abilities. These Rare Verdane are called the Espers, and among those espers, the very ultra rare elite of their kind have the ability to call upon elemental armor, which can protect from vitually any enemy's powerful magic use.
Verdane as a species, come in a variety of Canid types, most, for drawing reference, can be linked to the looks of the doberman pincher, the rotweiler, the greyhound, and finally, the ultra rare great dane.
*Doberman Pincher types- most common of the Verdane body types. It is agile, quick, and fairly hardy. They are very well rounded, though nothing truly stands out among them when it comes to agility types.
*Greyhound types- Also very common among the Verdane body types, it is agile, extremely quick, but not very hardy as their stamina gives out fairly quickly. They are the fastest of the Agile body types.
*Rotweiler types- An uncommon body type amongst the Verdane. it may not be agile or quick, but it moreso makes up for it by being powerful and virtually infinite in stamina! These are the tanks of the species, Great fighters, and amazing magic users if they are so lucky as to be born under the more powerful side of their element.
*Poodle types- The most well rounded and amazing of the body types! Great swimmers, parkour masters, and runners, this body type can handle it all. They may not be a tank, but they are also great fighters.
*Great Dane types- The rarest of all the body types, this is the most well rounded, yet high scoring runners, with great strides and amazing stamina, decent agility with their long legs, and great power comes with their large bodies. While others may be better in a single field, the Dane is almost as good in all feilds. More likely to be born with Celestial armor. Almost every single Dane can call upon their element.
Celestial Armor-
Celestial armor, unlike elemental armour, which is made of the user's element, Celestial armour is made of the user's magic in Metal form. It is the most powerful, strongest, rarest, and long lasting of all the elemental armours. Not every Dane body type can use it or call upon it, but they are more likely to have this power. Any verdane body type has the ability to call upon this armour, but only if their power is strong enough to conjure it.
The Verdane as they apply to Earth.
Due to the governement opening up and connecting the worlds, they have created tears that allow or sometimes even pull nightmarish creatures from Lukra. These creatures are why the Verdane have evolved elemental powers and armours. When pulled through the tear forcefully, creatures from Lukra that were just average in power, intensity, and aggression have evolved and become gouled to a point where their power has risen ten times, their bodies inable to handle this intense power become demented and Terrifying. This is where the Verdane come in, knowing the aggression and intensity of these creatures, they willingly self impose the duty of capturing and or obliterating these creatures on themselves. They create task forces to roam the world by night and take out the nightmares that now plague Earth.
The bond
The verdane have an intense desire to bond, and now that they have obsolved their connection to home, they instead seek out and bond with special humans on earth. Each Verdane looks for something different in a human, something that makes them special. Once the human is cornered, they will bite them, administering a Venom that will bond them for life.
The Verdane appear to the bitten and bonded as magical and mythical Canids, their shimmering scales almost mesmerizing in their beauty. However, to those who have not bonded or been chosen, they will appear simply as the breed of dog they most look like. The appearance called a Glimmer, is used, a magical armor that conceals them from nromal human vision. This is how they mesh into families easily, becoming a family pet by day, and a hunter with their chosen human by night.
