Cause this game can't get enough of uninvited guests if it wanted too =-=.This is my character, a bow user, from one of the Monster Hunter games I am playing!
Let's just say that Monster Hunter is one of the reasons I was able to get out of my funk by focusing less on my anxieties!
Cause video games equal gloriously horrid distractions! XD
Game is super fun and challenging!
But not for the weak of heart! Been trying to do more background art with this style!~

The worst I have faced is a mission where I have to deliver 3 rathian eggs, WHILST being attacked by an angry momma and papa :S
I had to slay them both and that's no small feat when fireballs are raining down, not to mention so many teeth and claws!!
But I hear that there's worst to come...

A fellow bow user! Always nice to see. Coming from MHFU to MH4U I feel like they nerfed the damage output on the bow. Which saddens me. Bow is like my fav weapon of the whole franchise.
Epic job on the piece btw. Colors look epic, the feel is awesome, expression, and the overall pose of the character.

My first game was MH3U, so I'm a later bloomer! XD Bows were super nerfed in that game from what I have heard (the underwater battles were cringe-worthy.... *shivers*) So MH4U is a major improvement in my eyes! XD
I agree though! The bow is loads of fun to play, and the coolest, elegant weapon in my opinion! XD
Thanks for you compliments as well! I've been wanting to do a Monster Hunter picture for a long time! As I progress towards G Rank I'll probably do another to show the long journey towards become a master huntress!

^^ I pretend underwater combat never happened. I bought a wii just for mh tri. Got bored of it after a while and sold it all. Then I got 3u. The underwater combat turned me off so much I stopped playing after I hit high rank. 4u has done a lot of stuff right, and brought back a lot of the fealings I got when plating mhfu. Half way through the high ranks now.
Good luck as you progress! I'm sure you got this in the bag though. Maybe I'll see you out on the hunting grounds. My character's name is itsuki.

Yeah I reached High Rank and quickly gave up once I discovered MH4U was available! Though I may play again for certain monsters!

If you want to bow, I'd watch a few tutorials! I almost gave up on them because I didn't know their core dynamics, but after a few vids, I was able to get the hang of them and I can't see myself playing without them! They are super fun! XD

Lol no! Bows just tend to take certain attacks out of the equation! Especially since gunners have to focus on not getting hitXD for example i just beat the gravios in under ten minutes with the bow! For blademasters that can be hard first time with hr 2 weapons mostly because of its dumb status attacks! Its a different kind of stage for both types of hunters! Different monsters pose different challenges!

Bow has a crazy 270 water element bow for low rank. I tried lbg and i wasnt even able to beat my bow time! So i think its just a special case!

It's definitely worth it to play in my opinion
If I were new getting it I would just buy the new 3DS since it's got true 3D and an extra stick! XD
But it's not for everyone though! I will say that. It takes a while to get used to, especially once you get past the tutorial stages! >A<
I would play the demo on someone else's 3DS, if you want to have a try at it!
