Description
This is for the Redwall Studios fanmade fourth season. A character design for Gonff. I dont expect it to be used, but possibly it would give you guys a good idea or two. This is just how I always pictured him turned more towards the animation from the Redwall tv series....I kind of regret drawing that serious look on him though. He's not a serious guy so it turned out looking awkward! 0.0Well! I hope they like it! I want to do anything I can do be apart of this, even if its just a teeny tiny part. So I'm going to give it my all guys! Wish me luck!
Gonff belongs to Brian Jaques!......I wish he belonged to me but a gal can dream. I know one thing, I was able to convince my little sister to name her mouse after him. XD

It's that I can almost see myself, from a physical aspect not as the character, in the drawing. Great Job, I hope/wish they use/had used this for the project.

Lol! This is from a while ago actually, and the position was full at the time. Its alright though. I realise its not one of my best works and am happy to say I've at least improved since then.

Yeah! Its weird! Especially since in all the books I've read of redwall he is the only mouse I've ever pictured to have grey fur and it wasn't even described he had grey fur in the book. 0_o

Yeah, I was thinking a kind of smokley grey and then a lighter grey stomach. I really have no clue why. I guess its because he looks kind of grey on the cover of the book. At least compared to Martin.

Though, going by Jacques' description, I personally always thought of Gonff as being shorter than Martin and a little fatter...

Well, actually I had my own personal reaons why I changed him up a bit. For one thing, I did draw him kind of roundish but I didnt want to make him too fat because then it would be more awkward for him to walk around animation wise. I notices I didn't really see that many fat mice from the actual series probably because their legs ended up being so skinny. I remember a fat rat from the first season and he just looked like a mess when he moved. T___T
And, well, the being taller thing was kind of my sense of humor working up. I alwyas thought it would be kind of funny if Martin had sort of a short, really muscular stocky build and then Gonff would just be taller then him by an inch or two. That way he can crack out shorty jokes at him. XD
